In the seminar Dr Anila Mjeda and Dr Hazel Murray from MTU will explore the transformative potential of quantum computing, highlighting the EU-funded QCloud project, supported through the OCRE initiative and AWS-Rackspace, which provides scalable access to quantum computing infrastructure. QCloud has enabled breakthrough projects at eight universities and 13 research institutes across Ireland. Additionally, the seminar will highlight elements of quantum education research that make complex quantum concepts accessible to students, equipping the next generation with the skills needed to thrive in this emerging field.
