RESIN X Sonraí Masterclass on the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance

May 2025, date TBC

RESIN and Sonraí, Irish Data Stewardship Network are co-organising a Masterclass on the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance (Collective Benefit, Authority to Control, Responsibility, and Ethics). The CARE Principles are designed to be complementary to the FAIR Principles and they should be implemented in tandem. This Masterclass will give attendees the opportunity to better understand the CARE Principles and consider how they can be applied when working with Irish Travellers.

These sessions are designed to cover topics relevant to our members. Each month, we welcome a member of our community to share insights into their work, followed by an open discussion. It’s an informal opportunity to connect, learn, and exchange ideas.

These InfoShares are coordinated by the HEAnet Research Engagement Team. If you have a topic you would be interested in sharing please get in touch at researchengagement@heanet.ie.
