The model is intended as a guide to be used, amended, and adjusted as is suitable for each<br>institution.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The model can be used by institutions to assess their position and any requirements relating to the goals<br>outlined in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/en\/publication\/27c78-impact-2030-irelands-new-research-and-innovation-strategy\/\">Impact 2030: Ireland\u2019s Research and Innovation Strategy<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/norf.ie\/national-action-plan\/\">NORF National Action Plan for Open Research<\/a>.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following functional areas are included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Research IT Support Structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Funding for Research IT<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Governance and Co-ordination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research Data Management Services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research Management Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brennan, C., Coffey, A., Dowling, L., O&#8217;Donoghue, J., Sabatino, R., &amp; Wrynn, S.
