Establish a monthly calendar of online events showcasing success stories across various topics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Develop comprehensive best practices and guidelines for organising IT, Research Data Management (RDM), and Research Office (RO) collaborations to effectively address emerging researcher requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative resulted in the Research Support Maturity Assessment model<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives for national RDM infrastructure, aligning with actions outlined by the National Open Research Forum (NORF). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Create strategies for engaging with researchers to capture their needs, emphasising the importance of researcher input in shaping support services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Explore Research Project Management (PM) strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Compile a list of national repositories to facilitate access to research outputs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop strategies for making research data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR), considering a discipline-specific approach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate on technical initiatives such as IPv6 implementation and automation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Explore training opportunities, potentially leveraging collaborations with other groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Establish testbeds for experimenting with new technologies and methodologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop policies and funding frameworks for Research IT, RDM, and Repository Operations (RO).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Unify voices when engaging with funders regarding Research Infrastructure (RI) and RDM initiatives, ensuring alignment with NORF and the Irish Universities Association (IUA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
