April 2024: Automation at HEAnet

Posted on 8 March, 20242 May, 2024

24/04/2024: Automation at HEAnet

Andy Byrne, Project Manager, and Brian McArdle, Technical Architect at HEAnet, will talk through HEAnet’s efforts towards automation. Andy explains “HEAnet are on a mission to automate as much of our business as is possible. This ensures that our services are delivered quickly and accurately to our clients. However, investing in automation can be difficult and the cost of investment needs to be weighed against the benefits of doing so.”

In this talk HEAnet will share our experience around developing an automation project that turned business logic into automation magic! The tools, techniques, and experiences of developing our HEAnet Automation Tools (HAT) will be shared with the community to inspire other parties on towards developing their own Automation services.
